National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) Public Rate Hearing 2019


Annually, OIR holds a public rate hearing for the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) proposed workers' compensation rate filing.

2019 NCCI Public Rate Hearing

On October 4, 2019, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) conducted a public hearing to discuss NCCI’s proposed overall average statewide workers' compensation premium decrease of 5.4% with an effective date of January 1, 2020. NCCI, who files on behalf of Florida’s workers’ compensation insurance companies, submitted the rate filing on August 27, 2019.
