In 2005, the Legislature passed HB 811, which amended Section 627.6699, Florida
Statutes, requiring the Board to issue a report to the office on the state of the health
insurance market each year. The report shall include recommendations for changes in the
health insurance market, results from implementation of previous recommendations, and
information on health insurance markets.
